Very cool to see AmigaOS developer Saimo release his brand new game "Blastaway"
While it is free, I have decided to also donate, would love to see Saimo develop more games for our Amiga's.
Download his game here: https://retream.itch.io/blastaway
An Amiga blog posting mostly my own development work for the Classic and NG (AmigaOS) machines.

Amiga - "Heartland" port / concept
"Heartland" Amiga Port (Concept only) 32 colours (plus copper background) for ECS and AGA. I have more info on my Patreon site. Don't worry you don't have to sign up... just have to wait a few days for public version, but I'm happy with this concept. :)
More details on my Patreon (don't panic more info will become available in a few days, no need to be a Patreon) :)

CONCEPTS of the Past - RAZZOR
CONCEPTS for different games that never quite made it past the Harddrive.
This post shows some concepts for games for different platforms, that never made it past concept stage (some for good reason).
Concept 01 - "RAZZOR"
This game originally designed on the Amiga using Brilliance 2 software (see below images). Later updated using Lightwave and Photoshop (above). The game would be similar to Alien Breed or Alien Syndrome with a few twists.

Amstrad MOVIE game - remake
Back in 2008 I imagined remaking the great game called MOVIE that was available on the Amstrad CPC. An excellent game.
The original game was in "screen Mode 1": 320x200 (4 colours).
The Amiga version was going to be created in 32/256 colours.
Update 2015:
Below is an image comparision between the ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC. Notice that the Amstrad version had more objects in the rooms.
Below is the Amstrad Map finally finished with separate sprites/objects.

Fatal Danger - Underthreat - Hybrid concept 2012
Modern version (2012) of Fatal Danger, name changed to Underthreat. (version 2 of Fatal Danger is a vertical shooter)
The game concept also shifted in design in that you could fly back through level and destroy other areas. Imagine R-Type/Defender :)
Sprites rendered in Lightwave 3D, hand drawn background and effects :)

Fatal Danger - Amiga A500 - Dpaint
Fatal Danger was an early (1990's) Shoot em up game for the Commodore Amiga.
Designed with Electronic Arts - Deluxe Paint.
Created somewhere between in the late 1980's early 90's.
Included in this design is the background, aliens and player ship sprites.
I believe this version was designed for 320x256 (PAL) with 16/32? colours (no parallax effects)
Anyone skilled coders interested help re-create this horizontal shoot em up :)
This is the swamp tileset (click for image for larger version)

FreeSerf AmigaOS 4.1.6
Thanks to Joel forth the info/video :)
I wonder if it will have the same bug that windows had?
If you were close enough to the border you could connect a flag and start draining the enemies resources.

And our Promo video for the Halloween map

Would really love to see this game on the Amiga. :)
Dots Adventures is out now for iOS with other platforms coming very soon!
A free to play game by EMV Software based on an old Amiga game called Platman.
iPad version
iPhone version
Dots Adventures is a classic retro style room based platformer. Dodge the enemies, find the keys and collect the pickups to score big and progress. Complete rooms quickly and cleanly for extra score bonuses and star awards. More stars means more points and higher rankings. Like all EMV Software games we have worked hard to make the game slick, fast and great fun to play. (This game comes from EMV Software, maker of Deluxe Galaga on the Amiga and Warblade, its sequel on PC and other platforms among many other titles.)
You can play the full Retro map for free. You must help Dot find his golden joystick so he can play his favourite game of all time, Warblade, and reign supreme in the world rankings. You can also buy the added adventures to get huge new maps with hundreds more rooms, all new graphics, new music and tougher, longer challenges. In Robozone you must defeat the droid army and in Lazerquest you must escape the digital world he is trapped in. Halloween sees Dot trick or treating at the witches castle and she has captured him and thrown him in her dungeons.
We have more maps in development too and they will be available to buy ingame soon...
This game is great for all ages, we hope you enjoy it and have lots of fun!
