Brilliance 3

Brilliance 3.  Remember all those great art programs on the Amiga. Besides Dpaint, Brilliance is still an amazing program.

These days it would be nice to see such software modernised.

This project not only updates Brilliance but adds a few other needed features such as layers and map editing tools.

Once all the graphics are created, it will be time to create the manual :)

I must add this is purely just concept images for the interface and as yet we have no coder, so if anyone knows someone please let me know.  At this stage any platform would be great.

A-MIGA Paint

A-MIGA Paint

Is a concept for AmigaOS machines.

A modern painting/animation software tool that blends all the nice features of our favourite paint programs on the Amiga (Deluxe Paint/Brilliance)

I've spend months on the project back in 2013.  These files sit on my harddrive and while I have always enjoyed contributing to other paint packages in recent times, I still crave good tools.

Current tools I use are:

PPaint 7.3 (68k)
Brilliance 2
Photoshop
Graphx2

Main Menu and Various tools

Zoomed export - custom Png Alpha menu

Tileable texture creation panel with zoom

Symmetry tool

Other designs not included in the post include:

- Complex gradient generators using images with colour limit settings
- Saving animated brushes with Sprite editor
- Lighting effects
- Animated gradients (think modern colour cycling)

...and much more... One can Dream :)

Other tools used in the past:

Opalpaint | TVpaint-AuraPaint | Gimp | ?

Amstrad MOVIE game - remake

Back in 2008 I imagined remaking the great game called MOVIE that was available on the Amstrad CPC. An excellent game.

The original game was in "screen Mode 1": 320x200 (4 colours).
The Amiga version was going to be created in 32/256 colours.

Update 2015:

Below is an image comparision between the ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC.  Notice that the Amstrad version had more objects in the rooms.

Below is the Amstrad Map finally finished with separate sprites/objects.
